room for rent in 2-bedroom house in Palo Alto ($1000)

Room available in a 2-bedroom/1-bathroom house near intersection

of El Camino and Page Mill. Room is 13'x10.5' plus built-in closet,

unfurnished, has a door to the backyard, and one window overlooking

the deck/backyard. House has hardwood floors, full kitchen, living

room with TV, washer/dryer, large garage for storage, and a large

backyard. Bathroom is shared.

My roommate is moving out, so I am looking for a new one. I'd

prefer someone who is responsible, clean, relatively quiet, and

a non-smoker/no drugs. I am a male, mid-30s and work at Stanford

University.

The room will be available sometime between late December and early

January. Rent is $1000 (utilities not included), plus a security

deposit of $1000. Utilities, etc are shared (i.e. gas/electricity/

water/garbage/recycling and cable/wireless internet).

Parking is available in the driveway and on the street (there are

always spaces available). The house is very close to California

Ave. restaurants, Caltrain station, and Fry's.

Cats are ok, but no dogs. We currently have a cat who will be

staying at the house until February or March.
