Room for rent in Mountain View house

We’re renting one room in a nice 3-beds 2-bath house in Mountain View. The house features a small front yard (with raised-bed gardens for growing veggies and herbs), a bigger backyard, and a garage.

My fiance and I have the master bedroom and one of the smaller bedrooms (which we use as an office and sometimes as a guest room). The room we’re renting is approximately 9 x 10 feet, plus a wall closet; it’s not huge, but our current roommate was able to fit comfortably a full bed, a bookshelf, and an armchair (see picture attached, room comes unfurnished).

The house is located in the quiet neighborhood of Monta Loma, less than 10 minutes walking distance from the San Antonio Caltrain station (about half a mile), and very close to the San Antonio shopping center (about a mile).

I am a research associate at Stanford, and my fiance is an operations manager for a tech startup. We’re both in our thirties, and we like cooking, hanging out in the city, and go to the occasional hike in the redwoods. We have a 5-years old white lab, who’s very sweet and was trained as a guide dog by Guide Dogs of America (though she never got to work as one, so she’s officially “retired” now).

Our ideal roommate is a young professional around our age who knows how to contribute to a friendly and relaxing environment while respecting personal space and time. Ideally, we'd prefer a six-months commitment, but we're open to negotiations.

Rent is $1400 plus utilities, wich round up to an average of $100 per person. Security deposit is $1500.
