Room on Palo Alto’s University Ave by Stanford! (1st month free!!!)

Hey there!

I’m moving out of the master bedroom in this home. I’ve lived here for two years, and it has been a wonderful experience. It’s my time to move on to the next phase in my life, and I’m looking for a replacement. We prefer a young professional or grad student who is clean, respectful, and friendly. :)

This is a super cool home on University Ave. next to downtown Palo Alto. We're a group of guys in our mid- to late-20s who work professionally in Tech or at Stanford. We hang out from time to time, whether it is in our living room or out downtown (before COVID-19). We get along really well.

We're renting out a room (~400 sq. ft.) for one person, with a shared bathroom and laundry on site. We are looking for someone to take over the room on Sept. 1st, 2020 (with move-in as early as Aug. 23rd, 2020). The first month of rent will be free.

The following includes the monthly & frequently occurring charges:

• Rent: $1550 / month (includes utilities!!!)
• Cleaners: $55 / 3 months (this happens once every three months, but is completely optional)
• Laundry: $3 / load ($1.50 for washing & $1.50 for drying)

It should be noted that the monthly rent increases by $50 every year, where this is applied in the month of October.

The following includes the one-time charges:

• Deposit: $800 (paid once at the start and received back at the end)
• Application: $40 (one-time fee)

The lease is indefinite, where you can stay here as long as you want. However, we prefer people who will be here for 6 months
or more (though we are flexible). Once you leave, you need to find a replacement.
