Looking for a new home in Palo Alto? One of our housemates is moving in August and we are on the hunt for a new roommate.
Our neighborhood is sunny and quiet, and our beautiful street (Channing Ave) is lined with large trees. We are located close to the 101 so it is easy to get out of town, but we’re also not too far from downtown Palo Alto (2mi) and Stanford (3mi). Both are bikeable and make for a great commute. The Market at Edgewood is a 5min walk away and IKEA and Target are just across the highway, so your move-in will be seamless.

About the roommates:
We are an international house of three people (you would be the fourth). The current roommates (two women, one man) are in our 20's and 30's, all working and/or doing research. Housemate #1 is making her research in agriculture field, developing the benefit of traditional farming; housemate #2 recently started work as a research technician at a biotech company and housemate #3 is a Stanford postdoc at SLAC. We are a friendly bunch and enjoy chatting and the occasional dinner party, but we are respectful of each other’s space and privacy too.
The knitty gritty:
Rent is $930 per month (way below market, as we have had this lease for a long time) for the room and a shared bathroom (with 2 of the roommates) + utilities. The room is furnished in the pictures, but it will be rented unfurnished (possibility to buy some of them). The room is free to move-in in August.
There is a security deposit - 1st month’s rent upon signing.
