On the west side of 101,
in a quiet, mixed residential and student area
a private room in a rustic setting.

Private entrance to your room through the garden--you won't have to enter the main house and bump into me.
Room also leads directly into the bathroom (shared with only one person)--almost like a private bathroom attached to room.

These are the highlights--privacy and solitude in a garden setting in a quiet neighborhood.
No access to the rest of the house. Thus, no housemates to bump into.
However, the room has a microwave.,refrigerator--and is therefore great for someone who does not cook-cook.
Room is well-lit, adequately furnished, cross-windows, door opens to the outdoors and great for summer sitting.
Two blocks away is an upscale shopping mall with Starbucks, grocery store, laundry, bagel shop, restaurant, bank, gym, laundromat, etc.

Parking in front of the house--buses going to downtown Palo Alto and close to Stanford. Believe there is also a Stanford bus

I may include the $45 only for WiFi and utilities for renting from August to December.
First and last required. Refundable $100 cleaning deposit due upon moving-in.
