We are looking for 2 a professional housemate (male or female) to apply for the posting below or similar.
About the roommates:
A 31 year old professional working at a tech startup in Mountain View. I have an adorable beagle-cross named Otis and I keep a very clean and respectful home. I am looking for other young professionals (dog-lovers are great of course!).
A couple, one doing a post-doc at Stanford while the other will be completing his masters degree. Also very clean, friendly, enjoy occasional entertaining, and like the outdoors.
Rent per room for the below house would be around $1,666 + HOA fees, I believe (verifying).
Reach out soon so we can get together and lock this amazing home down!
Reach out soon,
Colin

Bright and airy 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath town home (1782 sq. feet), 2 car garage, is looking for new residents. Located on the end of a quiet court in Oaktree Commons, just blocks from Los Altos & Palo Alto borders. (New paint & kitchen should be completed by July 1st.)
New paint throughout and brand new kitchen including new appliances, countertop/backsplash, cabinets, sink and faucets.
Rent includes landscape service in front and back yards. If you want to do your own gardening in the back yard, I can reduce the monthly rent by the price of the gardening service. It's up to you.
From the front door you enter a tiled entry hall leading to a kitchen with many cabinets and a small eating area with double doors leading to a small Brazilian slate kitchen patio. A nice greenhouse window over the sink is great for growing plants and bird watching. The dining room has six windows that look out into a camellia, azalea and Japanese maple contemplation garden. Living room includes wood fireplace and recessed lighting. The house has a very private feeling. A small den with small bar with sink and half bathroom complete the first floor.
A sliding glass door from the den takes you into the backyard. The backyard includes brick patio & walkways, and redwood decks covered by a wisteria-covered arbor, several types of cutting roses and fruit trees (apricots, plums and blood oranges) and a decked hot tub that can seat 5-6 people. A side area can be used for raising vegetables or other plants.
Upstairs includes 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet and vaulted ceiling, limestone floored vanity & master bath with all glass shower and all new fixtures. A laundry room is located off of the double sink guest bathroom and includes washer & dryer with abundant storage cabinets. Upstairs hall also includes upper and lower storage cabinets.
The epoxy floored two-car garage includes a built in pantry, also includes storage shelves throughout the garage. We are a sport loving family so pulleys for kayaks, racks for windsurfing equipment and hooks for bikes can be included if you need them. This street is a great place for kids and adults to learn to skate and bike ride as traffic is almost non-existent.
Landscape maintenance service is included for the front and side of the house. HOA dues cover landscape irrigation & maintenance with HOA dues paid by homeowner. Other utilities (electric, indoor and backyard water use, garbage and any TV, Wi-Fi or other utilities are paid by tenant.)

Looking for responsible, clean, non-smoking, professionals or family with excellent credit and references. No fee required to complete the application but if we look like this is a good fit for you then a $35 fee for credit report would be required before signing the lease. I will accept a copy of a recent credit report if you've got it. I prefer if rent can be made via electronic transfer between our accounts.
I have allowed pets in the past but it all depends on the animal and their owner. Additional cleaning deposit required.
Minimum 1-year lease. I plan on leasing my house for another 3 years perhaps longer if you and I work well together.
Available July 1, 2016. $5000.00 a month includes rear yard landscaping service. Front yard landscaping is always provided. If you like to garden and want to care for the rear yard then I am open to reducing the monthly rent by that amount. Security Deposit $5000.
Serious potential renters please contact me to schedule a walk-through.
Currently occupied, please do not disturb tenants, thanks!
Quick Update: unbeknownst to me the Homeowner Association removed four of the trees you see in the picture. I hope to find out this week about what they are going to do to replace the trees that had suffered during the drought. So full disclosure of the picture in this advertisement that tree in front and the birch trees are no longer there. The two maple and two pine trees are still there. Please consider the front landscaping in transition."
