I'm looking for a roommate for my 2-BR in Redwood City for the coming year March 1, 2015-March 1, 2016 as my current roommate left for DC and I have a subletter living with me until March 1. I have until January 27th to find someone or my apartment will be rented during February so I'm trying to find a roommate now.
I know it's a little expensive for a postdoc (my "half" is cheaper, I don't have a bathroom in my room) but it would be perfect for anyone with a real job or any friends you have that work in tech! I'd be open to a couple as well if the shoe fits. Plus, I'm pretty much cool as #### and super easy going.
About the place:
1625$ /month for your bedroom (+ sec deposit ~1625$) (+~70-100$/month for utilities)
your room is the larger master bedroom (~14x12) (in pics)
-own bathroom with a shower off your bedroom (I only use the shared bathroom)
-large closets with floor to ceiling mirrors flank the hall leading to your bathroom
-newly renovated, large living room with fireplace, large kitchen w/ dining area next to it
-furnished by me (42in tv) but if you have better stuff happy to redecorate
-located 5 blocks/15 minute walk/3 min bike from downtown redwood city, caltrain
-located ~4 blocks from 4 different grocery stores (Lucky, Safeway, TJs, WFs)
-located a block or so from the whipple exit on 101, but on a quiet nice park
-ideal for commuting up to SF or down to Apple/Google/Stanford/etc
-underground parking spot with electronic gate and locked doors
-newly renovated, new mailboxes, buzzer, etc
-I have a car if you wanted to borrow one for groceries/etc
-um...pool. park. nice neighborhood. really couldn't ask for anything nicer
About me:
-Male 33-yo Stanford post-doctoral researcher studying neuroscience
-not home very often (usually work/workout until at least 9-10pm)
-very easy to get along with, not much I can't accommodate
-I cook a lot and like food. I am pretty health, rarely watch TV, like to read, hike, play soccer, and make/listen to music, among other things I used to do before I was a postdoc
-Male or female is cool, I've lived with both
If you're interested, please email me with your details. This place is sweet--I hope I can find someone who wants to share it!
