Seeking flatmate for 1 year lease, for 2br/1.5bath Menlo

Posted a few days ago - now some updates on timeline and setting appts to see apartment:

Flatmate needed for 2br/1.5bath in Menlo Park. 1 year lease, starts June 21.

I put down a holding deposit to take it off market, but need a co-lessee by Weds 5/8 to finalize the deposit/draw up lease. The landlord can show the place next Monday/Tuesday (5/6-5/7) so if you are local you can see it before making final decision. So steps are 1) if you're interested, contact me, 2) if still interested and compatible, make appointment to see it, 3) submit application ($25 fee, they will do credit check) by morning of 5/8.

Lease starts June 21 and is 1 year. 1 parking spot for you. Coin-op laundry on site. Located at San Antonio St. and Glenwood. Your share (half) of rent is $1350/month + utilities. Security deposit is $2700, so your share will be $1350. Unit is located on San Antonio St. between Encinal and Glenwood.

I have more photos on request but here are some I took on the tour. It will be cleaned and repainted before we move in and will be unfurnished.Two floors - upstairs are 2 bedrooms and full bath, along with big closet/nook; downstairs are kitchen, dining, living area, half bath. There is a pool. It's a fast turnaround but it's a REALLY good location and is substantially cheaper than similar units nearby. I've looked at a lot of places and am SUPER excited about this one. It's only a 10 minute drive to Stanford Medical Center.

About me: I'm a postdoc at Stanford in the School of Medicine - I do public health research. Outside of work I like hiking, reading, cooking. I have a hairless cat who visits sometimes when she's not with my husband in Los Angeles.
