Semi-private room with amenities close to Stanford

Hi all,

I'm a young professional female looking for another female roommate for a cozy apartment in Menlo Park. The apartment complex is located about 3 miles away from the campus on the Atherton/Menlo Park border.

Details:
(please see pictures; some of the furniture in the room belongs to my roommate)

-Semi-private room (the divider between rooms isn't soundproof, unfortunately, but everything else is private)

• [This furniture comes with the room] a full size bed with a mattress, a small nightstand + a lamp + a desk and 2 chairs
• Full-equipped kitchen (it's small but has all the necessities, such as fridge, electrical stove, dishwasher, microwave oven and many cupboards for storage)
• 2 huge storage closets in the room [for you only] (see pictures) and another one near apartment entrance area [shared]
• Large window facing the internal yard with a swimming pool
• Parking spot in a secure underground garage (I don't have a car and bike everywhere instead)
• Coin-operated laundry in the building
• Free Wi-Fi
• Swimming pool
• Small exercise facility (a few cardio machines, weights, a cable machine and a few other pieces of exercise equipment)
• Trader Joes, Safeway, Whole Foods and so on within 10 min driving/biking
• Caltrain stations (Menlo Park and Atherton) about 12 min walking each way. Also, an ECR stop is 2 minutes away walking → there is a public transportation option to get to Stanford

BUT, as I mentioned above the divider isn't soundproof. However, this wasn't a problem with my current roommate since we are both busy (never home) and quiet. For the same reason, bringing home guests/boyfriends/etc. isn't a great idea. To avoid any potential issues, my current roommate and I had a no-guest/quiet ~11pm-7am time rule.

The rent is $1100/month (all utilities included) + $500 deposit.
Available for move-in on May 1st (+/- a day or two --> can be discussed)

More about me:
I've been working in a microbiome lab at Stanford Medical School for over 3 years. I work long hours, take classes and volunteer, so I'm rarely home during the day. I'm currently occupying "the living room" portion of the apartment with a balcony where I store my bike, snowboard and some other items. My current roommate is a German postdoc and we’ve been living together for 1.5 years. She recently got a PI position and going back to Germany in the end of April.
