Single room WANTED from June/July 2016 for 6+ months

I am a postdoc and I am considering of moving into an accommodation that is within cycling distance to the Stanford School of Medicine. I am looking in the price range <$900/ month for 6+ months. I am looking for a quiet place, i.e. off main roads. Many thanks.
