I built this standing desk frame to hold up a dual monitor configuration. It was specifically designed to not require attachment to the wall or mar it in any way (it's held up by the desk). The entire thing can be disassembled into compact pieces and re-assembled without tools or hardware The monitors can also tilt down for those times when you get tired of standing.
Specs: This was designed for a standard desk height of 30 inches, and the center of the monitors is about 28 inches above the surface of the desk. If you want to raise the height above the desktop, then you can pad the bottom and rescrew some braces. If you want it lower, you'll have to actually cut some wood. For transport, the longest piece (vertical riser) is a little over 6 feet long.
What's included: The frame against the wall, pair of VESA mounts, counterbalancing rope. Keyboard/mouse riser (with a shorter board than is shown).
What's not included: Weights for counterbalancing (this is what allows it to tilt). A jug of water could probably be used instead.
