Studio apartment for rent in Oak Creek Apartments from early August

Due to the end of my fellowship,my apartment is available for long-term rent in Oak Creek Apartments.
I started my fellowship in early September 2016 and signed my lease agreement for 12 months (September 8, 2016 – September 7, 2017) but I am moving home in early August (I plan to leave around August 7 but it is flexible) so I need to find someone who will take over my lease for the last month and continue living here as long as he/she wants. The new tenant would contract directly with the leasing office.

This is a 3rd floor studio apartment in Oak Creek Apartments which is perfect for one person or a couple. It is expensive (like almost everything in the area) but I had a wonderful time here and the facilities and the environment definitely made it worthwhile.

Price: $2735/month

Location: 1380 Oak Creek Drive, Palo Alto (adjacent to the campus area)

• 25 minutes walk to Hoover Tower/10 minutes by bike/15 minutes by Stanford’s free shuttle bus
• 25 minutes walk to Palo Alto Caltrain Station/10-15 minutes by bike/multiple Stanford Shuttle options
• 20 minutes walk to Safeway/10 minutes by bike/multiple Stanford Shuttle options
• 5 minutes walk to Stanford Hospital

Apartment: 560sq feet, and reserved parking spot under the building (it was originally unfurnished but if you wish, for a very reduced price I am happy to leave behind all my furniture and electronics so you can get a fully furnished apartment with all kitchen supplies and household devices)

Environment: it’s a very green environment, gorgeous oak trees everywhere; trails for walking, biking, jogging; there are about 400 apartments of which Stanford rents half for its graduate students so there are a lot of young people around

Facilities included in the rent: 5 small pools (one is right next to my building), 1 large swimming pool for lap swimming (this is heated all year long), 3 tennis courts, gym, clubhouse with pool table, indoor cinema theater (movies every night of the week with free popcorn and snacks), all day-long free coffee and occasional pastries in the clubhouse, playgrounds for kids

Laundry: 4th floor of every building works with a cash card
