Reposting on a friend's behalf. I've seen the apartment myself, and it's awesome. It's right in the heart of the Mission in San Francisco, at 26th and Valencia. It's a perfect location! And $1300/mo. for each bedroom is such a steal in this crazy housing market. (There are 2 rooms available in the unit at $1300/mo. each, available now through March 31 move-out.) I'll get you in touch with my friend if you're interested. Reposting the Craigslist ad text below, or just click here: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/sub/4882208247.html.
Hi -
I became master tenant of an amazing 2 floor apartment, and I am subletting two of the rooms starting ASAP through March 31.
There are two great sized bedrooms upstairs with open closets, and on the main floor there is a full eat-in kitchen, full bathroom, and a sweet living room space with an awesome chandelier. There is a small patio out back, and downstairs there is storage space (easy in-and-out bike storage for bike commuters), free laundry, and a 1 car garage. The building is old but in good condition and the location is amazing. It's a quiet, safe block right next to cafes, yoga studio, restaurants, and close to the highway. I don't have pictures of the place yet and I don't have the square footage off hand, but will have them tomorrow.
The monthly rent is as follows, and I will pro-rate for February
Master Bedroom $1450
2nd Bedroom $1300
Security deposit: $1,000
Parking your vehicle in the garage is $200 plus an additional $200 security deposit.
I will slowly be moving my stuff into the apartment over the course of February, will start living in the livingroom around end of February or last week of of March. I'm super easy to live with.
If you have your own bed and dresser, then perfect. If not, I will provide basic furniture (since I'll be moving in there soon anyway). Let me know in you email.
Please reply to me with your LinkedIn or Facebook, a bit about yourself, your source of income, whether you have the furniture you need or not, and why subletting my place a a month and a half is something that would be sensible for you right now. Also make the subject line mr. purple so I know you read this whole thing.
I'm having an open house tonight 8-9pm and maybe the next few nights until I find suitable tenants. So get at my ASAP!
