I am a Stanford graduate and live in a gorgeous 4 bedroom apartment with three other Stanford grads (all B.A./B.S. in 2005).

We live at Fell and Fillmore between Hayes Valley and the Lower Haight, right around the corner from Alamo Square. Since we are on rent control, the room to sublet is only $830/mo. I am flexible about the move in/move out dates, but ideally would be toward the very end of July 1-Aug 31 (but I am flexible and you could move in a few days earlier, or stay later).

-Alamo Square: Victorian 'Painted Ladies'

-Hayes Valley (one of the hippest neighborhoods these days: Blue Bottle coffee kiosk, Suppenkuche german restaurant, Absinthe wine bar and restaurant, a few book stores, and plenty of hip design/clothing boutiques)

-Lower Haight (great bars/restaurants/overall very affordable. Great Indian and Thai options, and an awesome new Italian Enoteca).
