Suite Available in Shared Los Altos Home

A suite (bedroom + private bath) in our 8-bedroom, 6-bathroom house in Los Altos Hills will be available Aug 21st, although timing can be flexible. We're a friendly group of young professionals, and we're looking for someone to join our little community. We lovingly refer to the house as a mansion -- it includes a large kitchen with multiple appliances, multiple spacious common area rooms, large backyard with trampoline, outdoor grills, fire pit, and ample parking spaces. The neighborhood is scenic and quiet, with lots of running and walking trails, and little critters hopping around. The house is a quick drive or medium bike ride to the Stanford campus and Mountain View, and within walking distance to downtown Los Altos.

We enjoy cooking, board games, movie nights, riding bikes, hiking, and family brunches. Although 10 roommates might sound intimidating, this isn't a co-op or hacker house. Everyone is super friendly, but also independent and respectful of privacy. 1 kitty and 2 doggos already live here, so fluffy cuddles are always available. Additional animals might be considered if they are a particularly good fit.

The suite is on the ground floor attached to the main house, but is very private as it is separated from the main floor via the laundry room. There is a private bathroom adjoining the bedroom. Though not furnished, the house is very large and extra furniture from past roommates may be repurposed as needed.

Rent is $2,000 a month, and utilities come out to about $70/person per month. The room is available Aug 21st, although timing can be flexible. We would ideally find someone/a couple who wants to stay for at least 1 year. We will begin to invite people over to visit the house soon! Due to COVID concerns, we would be happy to schedule video calls for viewing and meeting the housemate or wear masks during in-person visits.
