Take care of two sweet guinea pigs?

Hi all,

I am looking for someone who might be interested in taking in two sweet guinea pigs (Lucy and Beatrice) for about two months while I'm traveling. Since I'm giving up my apartment to stay with relatives abroad, they would need to stay with a different family for the time being.

The ideal caretaker is someone who would be excited to have a "practice pet" for a little while, such as a family interested in maybe one day getting guinea pigs of their own.

I'm looking for someone to take them in June 26 - August 20th. They can of course be taken care of by neighbors if there are small holidays in between (and can be left alone for up to 3 days with enough hay and water:).

They are two girls and come with a cage that is about 2 feet wide by 4 feet long (but can be made smaller). The commitment would be to feed them hay and vegetables every day (the hay I will provide, the veggies I can reimburse), cleaning the cage when it is soiled (I will provide bedding, half of which is paper which is thrown out, the other half are fleeces which are washed in a normal machine), and letting them run around sometimes. And of course, playing with them and having fun!

If I could take them with me, I would, but I think the international travel would be so stressful for them it would be better for them to stay here.
