MASTER BEDROOM

$1450/mo. rent for the 14’ x 14’ master bedroom with new carpeting. The room comes optionally furnished with a twin bed, nightstand, desk and executive chair (see photos). Rent includes electric, gas, water, garbage and ultra high-speed Internet. The bedroom is very large with two built in closets. You'll have access to the newly remodeled master bathroom (located in the hallway).

BEDROOM #2

$1350/mo. rent for a 10' x 11' for a furnished bedroom with new carpeting and high-end furnishings. Rent includes electric, gas, water, garbage and ultra high-speed Internet. The bedroom has a large built in closet and comes optionally furnished (see photos) with a full bed, nightstand, glass top desk and shelving. You'll have access to a fully remodeled double sink bathroom (shared by one other housemate) and garage for storage if needed.

THE HOME:

The house is about 2500 sq. ft. with wood flooring covered by beautiful rugs. All the bedrooms will have new carpeting installed in June. There are two bathrooms in the house completely renovated with ceramic tile, new toilets, sinks and showers. There is a large central living room with a 75" HD TV home theater system for movie nights and GOT. The kitchen will also be completely remodeled this summer with ceramic tile, new cabinetry and dishwasher. There is a high-end gas range and two refrigerators. The dining room seats 8-people. There is a dedicated laundry room with washer and dryer. The backyard is gorgeous with comfortable outdoor furniture. There’s plenty of parking in the driveway.

THE LOCATION:

Home is located 3/4 mile from Menlo Park CalTrain station in easy walking/biking distance. It’s walking distance to Stanford and 15 minutes biking to Facebook. The neighborhood is very upscale and extremely safe with large trees lining the streets. It's only minutes away from downtown Menlo Park, Starbucks, multiple grocery stores, restaurants and shopping. There's easy access to the 101 fwy and El Camino Real. Easy commute to San Mateo, Belmont, San Carlos, Redwood City, Palo Alto, Mountain View and Sunnyvale.

HOUSEMATES:

There are a total of five housemates. We currently have two Stanford post-docs, two doctoral candidates, and a tech worker (all male). Out of respect for others there are no overnight guests allowed.

YOU:

We're looking for a respectful, tidy, male housemate (due to shared bathrooms). With five people living in the house, you must be the type to clean up after yourself, keeping all common areas clean (especially the kitchen and bathrooms) and free of personal clutter. You must be responsible to pay rent on time each month without exception. The house is a smoke-free and drug-free environment.

WHEN:

The master bedroom is available now. Bedroom #2 is available on August 20th.
