2 rooms available month-to-month in 3BR2BA duplex home. North of Woodside Rd, west of El Camino. One mile to wonderful downtown Redwood City, CalTrain, or SamTrans bus (e.g. to Stanford). Bike to Stanford <30 min.
$2200/month is total for both rooms, 2 people max total. Rate is negotiable for just one room. Includes use of everything in the home and yard and all utilities (water/sewer, garbage, gas/electric, Internet, hulu).
Large room: Queen bed, outside door. Small room: Full bed. Both rooms have closet, linens, desk, chair, lamps, dresser, bookcase, ceiling fan, light-blocking curtains plus blinds, computer monitor and/or TV, and wooden floors with area rugs. Rugs and art can be removed, but main furniture stays. Feel free to decorate with your own art, lighting, etc. Many options available for bedding and curtains. Main bath to yourself - "private bath" notation means the main bathroom (tub & shower) are shared by these two rooms only (with only rare other use); bathroom decor can be changed to whatever you like.
House is generally quiet and very suitable for working from home. Home is completely furnished. Dining room seats up to 8. Kitchen has tall prep table with stools. LR has 3 sofas, desk, 55" TV, Internet, high-end router, Chromecast, Roku (for your Netflix/other paid service), and a local antenna; no cable TV. Washer/Dryer. Fully-stocked kitchen with many appliances, equipment and essentials. (Note: Furniture in larger bedroom has been upgraded since these photos; new photos coming soon of both bedrooms and more.)
Locked back yard with outdoor furniture & storage. You can borrow a bike, tennis & beach gear, printer & more.
You'll get one parking space in a shared driveway, plus easy street parking (no permit required).
Huge Red Morton park is one block away with a gym, pool, athletic fields, lighted tennis courts, skate park, outdoor fitness equipment, playground, senior center, community center & more.
You'll share the home with one single friendly tech professional. I prefer to live with a working professional, grad student or post-grad/faculty (day shift, during Covid-19 either work-at-home or outside work involves limited public interaction). Must be over 21 and prove sufficient income.
No pets, smoking, drugs, vaping or guns.
Must agree to follow health safety orders and precautions - wearing masks in public, not mingling in large groups, not going to crowded events or indoor bars/restaurants, cleanliness at home, etc.
