This is not like other advertisements where you will be sharing the house with four or five other roommates. In addition, the house is located in a quiet, safe, and friendly neighborhood, which is away from main roads and where neighbors all know each other and there are annual potlucks. This house is an oasis for anyone looking for a respite from the fast pace of life here in Silicon Valley.

This three-bedroom/2.5 bath has an ideal location as it is situated in the heart of Silicon Valley. This house share is less than 1 mile from quaint downtown Los Altos (3 minutes driving or 15 minutes walking) and to two grocery stores and four coffee shops. It is equidistant between 280 and 101; and it is a 15-minute drive to Palo Alto and Mountain View. This home is located in a quiet bedroom community of Los Altos where the neighbors get together for monthly brunches.

This posting is not for a room to rent but rather for a roommate to share this beautiful home. The renter will have her own room (12ftx12ft) and private bath (shower and tub). She will have full access to the living room, dining room, kitchen, patio, office (3rd bedroom), patio and grounds (11,000 sq. ft). She will have adequate storage in all of the common areas. Off street parking is available on the wide driveway. The bedroom is furnished with a plantation-style, canopy bed and mattress, an oversized chair for reading and mahogany/tiger eye oak dressers (the furniture can be vacated if desired).

This spacious, upscale 2,000 sq. ft. house has rustic, hand-crafted furnishings accented by academic paintings and sketches, a professionally landscaped garden, and plank-style oak flooring. This home was gutted by my grandfather and completely remodeled with bay windows overlooking the garden, an open-concept floor pattern that allows flow from the kitchen to the dining and living room, a gazebo for a retreat and handmade cabinetry. The house is Northern-facing and is flooded by the warmth and cheer of California sunshine.
