I used to work on vintage bikes as a hobby prior to Stanford. I am now selling my wife's bike that got her around campus, it is a 54cm frame suitable for people of average and slightly tall heights (5'6-5'9).
All original except for new tires, tubes, handle bar tape and reflectors/lights (recently replaced). All the rest is original as described in this flyer (http://www.classicfuji.com/1975_08_Tourer.htm) and is in great condition. Only several spots on the frame where paint has scrubbed off a bit.
It rides solid and has medium sized (hybrid-like) tires to get you around campus comfortably. Wheels spin true and all mechanics work like new and have been well maintained. The beauty of a vintage bike is that its built like a tank (nuts and bolts) and can be easily maintained without the need of taking it to a shop -- all you need is access to an adjustable wrench, screwdrivers and some bike oil (all available at the bike stations across campus).
I am asking $375 obo, it will come with everything you need (locks, lights) minus a helmet. I am now situated in Mountain View, but will bring the bike into campus for inspections/test rides. It's a beautiful bike, I hope it goes to a good owner. Questions welcome.
