first off if you are reading this, congrats! you have a PhD, and also were smart enough not to give in and order that BS rental gown. you spend 5+ yrs publishing papers for the man, you deserve to walk in something that looks good. like, not an undergrad gown with fuzzy sleeves. screw that.
