Young Professional Looking for a Room to Rent for a Year

I'm moving out to California from Washington, DC soon and I'm looking to rent a room for a year starting anytime after August 31st.

I'll be starting a year-long position as a Research Assistant at Stanford University and am hoping to live somewhere that is a short bike ride to campus or has easy bus access to it. I'm a recent college grad and am very laid-back, friendly, and reliable. I pay the rent on time and am great about keeping common areas clean.

I would love to live in a house with other young professionals/grad students/etc who are easy-going and social. Let me know If this sounds like a good fit and there's a room (preferably furnished) available in your house or apartment for a year. My price range is around 800-1000/month.
