3 rooms opening up in a 5 bedroom / 3.5 bathroom house in downtown Palo Alto. We are located two blocks from University Avenue, within walking distance to restaurants, shops, bars, a 12 minute walk to the Palo Alto Caltrain station and a 5 minute drive to Hwy 101. The house is big, cozy and absolutely gorgeous! The kitchen has modern appliances with a large island, great for cooking and hosting dinners. There is a large living/dining room that is fully furnished with three sofas, and a flat screen TV. Washer and dryer on site with garage storage (aka, the bike shop). The house has a shared driveway, but there is also plenty of street parking available.

We have 3 rooms available at various dates: $1600 for the smaller room (available 8/1), $1650 for the medium sized room (available 8/15) and $1900 for the master bedroom (available (8/26). The master bedroom comes with a walk in closet, double sink bath and private shower.

We are flexible with the move-in dates listed but our landlord requires that you commit to a full-year lease that ends on 7/31/2016.

About us: We are two Stanford graduate school alumni working in technology. We’re active, social, and like doing outdoor activities: hiking, camping, running, cycling, surfing. Occasionally we host dinners and events in our large living room and backyard. The house is a relaxing, friendly environment to come home to and we’re looking for like-minded people who want to make this a great place to live as a community. We’re respectful of each other’s schedules and space, and coordinate house events and guests.

About you: easy-going, clean, responsible with rent and willing to contribute to light shared house duties (trash pickup, coordinating utilities, making bad jokes). Open to male or female roommates; ideal for graduates/post-docs or professionals mid-twenties to early thirties.
