It's that time of year again - time to celebrate community health workers on
CHW DAY!!
This year, we will have a full day of activities, including
continuing education, at the Lodge at Hocking College on Friday, June 5, 2026. Please
register by Friday, May 29 using the QR code on the flyer or this
link so we can be ready for you.
Community Health Workers Day Agenda
- 9 - 9:30 am - Coffee, Pastries & Company Introduction
- 9:45 am - Food Security Resources Panel
- 10:30 am - Taste Testing for People with Unique Health Conditions & Being Mindful in Relationships with Food
- 12:30 pm - Lunch & Chair Yoga, Guided Imagery
- 1-3 pm - Poetry Workshop, Planting, & Tea Party
Please bring resources to share with your fellow CHWs on our
resource table. You are welcome to dress comfortably. Current CHW training participants and CHWs who aren't certified are welcome to attend.
