We’re a small, stealth-stage medical device startup in California building a novel magnetocardiography (MCG) device, a noninvasive way to read the heart’s magnetic signals for earlier cardiac diagnostics. Founded by a former UCLA professor (science), a Wharton MBA / ex-J.P. Morgan VP (business) and a renowned physician (medicine). We’re looking for a remote, part-time coder to help build a repeatable simulation package as we work toward FDA pre-submission and de-risking. Working with AI tooling, you’d produce: • Simulation scenarios • Synthetic MCG-like data • Plots and SNR metrics • Assumptions logs and clean, reviewable outputs How it works: you generate the material; our two founders review it, one for scientific plausibility (source model, sensor assumptions, plots), the other for regulatory fit (claim scope, physician interpretation, risk-benefit, predicate/comparator thinking, pilot-study planning). The goal is credible, well-documented evidence that guides the next de-risking step. Good fit if you have: strong Python, comfort with data simulation / signal processing and plotting, and ideally a biomedical or health-data background. Biomedical computation and informatics folks especially encouraged to reach out. Compensation: equity only at this stage (no cash), terms to be discussed, a genuine get-in-early opportunity rather than a paycheck. Once funding is completed this could turn into a full-time role which would of course be cash-compensated. Location: fully remote, part-time. Interested? Reply with a short note on your background and a link to GitHub or a portfolio if you have one.

Videographer + Editor for a Punjabi Food Series (Menlo Park, Summer 2026) Hi! I'm Ridhi — I run Mona Darling Co, a food account focused on fun, modern Indian-inspired dishes and festive bakes. This summer I'm launching a Punjabi cooking series for the modern American kitchen, and I'm looking for a videographer/editor to shoot it with me. The project 10 videos total: 1 pantry intro, 1 teaser, and 8 recipes. A mix of short-form (Reels/Shorts/TikTok) and long-form (YouTube). The vibe is informative but personal - story-driven, a little quirky, full of tips and tricks. Think bright, warm, and uplifting; tight cuts on the short-form, more breathing room on the long-form. Logistics Shooting in my home kitchen in Menlo Park, CA Weekends only (Sat/Sun), up to 2 recipes per shoot day Flexible on dates, aiming for summer 2026 to get great natural light You'll need to commute to Menlo Park on shoot days Who I'm looking for Strong eye for food — you notice the way oil hits a pan, the color of saffron blooming, the texture of fresh atta. No prior experience with Indian food required, just genuine curiosity and excitement about it. Solid short-form instincts: you know how to pick the hook, cut for retention, and make people stop scrolling. Editing experience with food or lifestyle content is a big plus. Reliable on timelines and easy to collaborate with on shoot logistics. Compensation - Paid - rate negotiable based on experience. Plus all the food you can eat on shoot days. Equipment - Please share what gear you'd plan to use - camera, lenses, lighting, audio, stabilization, etc. I don't have a strict requirement, but I'd love to understand what you're working with so we can plan the look together. If you rent or borrow gear from school, that's totally fine — just let me know. On my end, I have a DJI Mic Mini, Colbar Wonder light and a tripod available if useful. The kitchen also gets great natural light, which I'd love to lean into. To apply, send me: 1\. Your reel or portfolio (especially anything food, lifestyle, or short-form) 2\. Your rate expectations (hourly, per-video, or flat project — whatever you prefer) 3\. Your rough availability this summer (which months/weekends look open) *Email: ridhi@monadarling.co*
