Add to calendarThe 57th annual Governor’s Dinner is set for Wednesday, July 22 at 6 p.m. on the grounds of the Governor’s Mansion in Carson City. College Football Hall of Famer and three-time national championship head coach Urban Meyer will headline Northern Nevada’s signature summer social. Tickets for the 2026 Governor’s Dinner are on sale through July 15 via the Wolf Pack Athletic Association.
Nevada Athletics’ premier fundraising event unites the Wolf Pack community to support student-athletes. Proceeds provide critical resources that enhance the student-athlete experience, drive competitive excellence, and fuel long-term program success, creating meaningful opportunities in the classroom, in competition, and in life.
“We are thrilled to welcome Urban Meyer as our headline speaker,” said Nevada Director of Athletics Stephanie Rempe. “His championship pedigree matches the prestige of our annual event.” University President Brian Sandoval ’86 added: “Few figures in college football compare to Coach Meyer. We’re excited to have him as our keynote speaker, and to welcome a friend and fellow Buckeye to Nevada.”
Meyer, a 2025 College Football Hall of Fame inductee, won 85.4% of his games (187-32) across Bowling Green, Utah, Florida, and Ohio State, capturing national titles in 2006, 2008, and 2014, and seven conference crowns. He remains the only modern-era head coach with national championships in two different conferences, and his teams achieved 20-plus game win streaks four times. Table sponsorships are available; ticket details are listed online.
