Add to calendarEach year, the Oswego County Healthy Miles Coalition and the Rural Health Network of Oswego County partner to host a walking event on National Trails Day. This year, the event will be at Rice Creek, to celebrate the opening of the Purple Accessible Trail as a new Healthy Miles trail. The event kicks off at 9:30 a.m. with a group walk (0.6 miles) at 10. a.m. With stone dust and boardwalk surfaces and gentle slopes, the Purple Trail meets many accessibility needs. Tabling and trail walks continue until 12 p.m.
