We’re seeking a college or grad student to support our 15-year-old autistic son as a 1:1 learning aide during the school week.
WHY THIS IS A GREAT STUDENT ROLE
- Private cottage included (room, utilities, Wi-Fi)
- Prime Menlo Park location near Stanford
- Housing value ~$3,000/month
- 30–35 hours/week, mostly weekdays
- 3 weeks paid vacation + major holidays
- Additional hours paid at $20/hour
- Hands-on experience relevant to education, psychology, speech therapy, OT, or healthcare
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Support a student at a small, inclusive high school
- Assist with communication using an AAC device
- Help with routines, homework, and activities
- Drive to school and appointments (family vehicle provided)
WHO THIS IS FOR
- Responsible, kind, organized student
- Interested in working with teens and neurodiverse learners
- Minimum 1-year commitment
