Master bedroom with private bath for female housemate, Sept 1st

The available room is a master bedroom with an attached private bathroom. Rent is $2,200/month, plus utilities (around $200/month per person, including internet) and a cleaner for the common areas every 2 weeks ($120/month per person).

The current housemates are two women. One is a lawyer in her late 30s who enjoys Dungeons & Dragons, anime, scuba diving, and biking to work. The other is a biomedical engineer in her early 30s who enjoys running, hiking, and arts & crafts. Both are fully vaccinated.

The house is a single-story home, 1,600 square feet. Aside from the available bedroom, the home is fully furnished. The house is a 5–10 minute walk from Safeway, and a 12-minute bike from downtown Mountain View.

The home includes in-unit laundry, central AC and heating, one available driveway parking space, additional garage storage, and plenty of street parking for guests. We are generally a shoes-off household. There is also a small backyard with some soil for gardening but nothing currently planted (if you have a green thumb, that's a bonus!). Although the house is located on a semi-major road, it is generally very quiet inside thanks to the hedge.

The available bedroom is 15’4” x 13’8” and includes a walk-in closet (5’ x 9’10”). The room is unfurnished and has windows facing the backyard and side yard. The bathroom is private and attached to the room. The current occupant is moving out to live with his long-term girlfriend.

You would have full access to the common areas, and we’re looking for someone who is clean, respectful, communicative, and comfortable sharing space thoughtfully. Occasional guests are fine, though we ask that everyone gives the house a heads-up beforehand. Overnight guests should be discussed with the other housemates in advance. No large parties please, though occasional dinners, game nights, or small gatherings are welcome if coordinated ahead of time. Pets would need to be approved by the landlord.

We’re hoping to find a female housemate interested in a 12-month lease from September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2027. The security deposit is $1,333.33.
