Looking for a female roommate to take over my room in a 3 bed/2 bath apartment near Cal Ave!
Apartment Details:
- 3 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms total. 2 of us share one bathroom, while our other roommate has the master room.
- In-unit washer and dryer. Kitchen with an electric stove, oven, fridge, and dishwasher
- My roommates and I currently use all of our other appliances (crock-pot, toaster, rice cooker, etc) communally
- Floor-to-ceiling windows (GREAT apartment lighting), ring camera, lots of overall storage (linen closet, entryway closet, linen closet)
- Apartment balcony + Mirrored closet doors
- Very kind and helpful landlord!
Building Details:
- Bike room with a passcode
- Elevator
- Pool + patio chairs + grill
- One assigned car parking per apartment (one roommate currently has a car, so you would have to work out a schedule with her). Lots of street parking otherwise, and a parking garage close by.
Location:
- 3 min walk to Cal Ave (so much to do: eat at yummy resturants like Zareen’s, get Ume, go to Mini Cat Town, etc)
- Extremely close to 2 grocery stores on Cal Ave (Mollie Stone’s and Country Sun). 10 minutes to bike ride to Town&Country to get groceries from TJs and a 15-minute bike ride to downtown Palo Alto. Beautiful trail to walk to TJs instead as well.
- 20-minute bike ride or 20-minute bus to the Mountain View Shopping Plaza with Walmart/TJs/Safeway
- 8 min bike ride to Stanford.
- 8-minute walk to the Cal Ave train station
- The area is incredibly safe — people are always around with their families, and Cal Ave is lively! There’s also a small park right in front of us and a Chipotle down the street.
Cost:
- Rent: $1650 per month per month until August 15th, then $1550 per month onwards
- Deposit: $1650
- Utilities + Wifi usually come to around $40/month each
Housemates:
- 2 other girls— one is a Stanford Alum in her mid-20s working in tech, and the other is a Berkeley grad doing Tech policy research at Stanford!
