Hi, I am a male physics undergraduate arriving on June 26th for a 3-month summer research internship at a Stanford campus lab. I am looking for a room within biking distance to campus. My budget is up to $1,300/month, but I am entirely open to negotiating that number depending on whether utilities, internet, or other fees are included. My lab schedule will be quite demanding, so I will be out of the house for most of the day. I maintain a very quiet, ultra-clean, and low-impact lifestyle—I don't drink, smoke, do drugs, or host parties and guests. I am simply looking for a respectful, calm environment to rest in between lab shifts. I have my official Stanford invitation letter and university documentation ready to verify my background immediately. If you have a room available that fits a 3-month summer timeline, please reach out. Thanks,
Visiting Male Undergrad: 3-Month Summer Internship starting June 26 (Budget up to $1300, flexible)
Hello, it's nice to meet you. I'm a 21 yo nonbinary & autistic individual, and an incoming Camp Leader for SNP-REACH & SNP-BRIDGE (Stanford's Neurodiversity Program). This opportunity to work with and advocate for fellow neurodivergents is a dream come true, and I would be forever grateful for your support in fostering my journey! --- Location --- I'm looking to stay for 7 weeks (June 14th - July 31st). Though walking distance would be nice (close to Pigott Hall would be preferred) as I do not drive a car, I am willing to take a bus up to ~40 mins away from campus. While I have a preference for single/private bedrooms to mentally recharge as an autistic individual, I've gotten by okay with double bedrooms and even sharehouses with >10 beds per room. I'm happy to be as flexible as you need me to be. Sublet, shared room, apartment, any option is okay! I am also fully willing to share any public facilities like a bathroom, kitchen, etc. --- Budget --- Up to $2,000 per month --- About me! --- As a local introvert & CompSci major with a love for gaming, art, and writing, I'm a quiet soft-spoken individual who spends most of their free time at their desk w/ headphones and a drawing tablet. I clean up after myself and regularly help others in my household wash dishes, vacuum floors, watch after pets, etc.. I'm super self-conscious and earnestly want to keep everyone's best interests at heart, thus I will do my best to abide by any special requests you have for me. Also, if you're looking for entertainment for evenings/weekends, I have a game library full of party games (Jackbox, Boomerang Fu, Super Smash Bros, and more)! --- Contact Info --- Email: bliu@macalester.edu Phone #: +1 (323) 333-2896 Instagram: @brendan_5671 Discord: zettaflake I'm looking forward to getting to know you! Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions or for clarification.
Autistic Nonbinary SNP-REACH (Neurodiversity Program) Camp Leader looking for housing | June 14th - July 31st
We're a small family moving to the area in search of a house, apartment or townhouse to rent, for myself (a flutist and physician in training starting a 2 year program in July at Stanford), my husband (a scientist and creative dabbler who works from home for a national lab), our 9 year old (an avid cellist and soccer player), our well behaved little rescue mutt (poodle chihuahua mix), and our peaceful goofy Nebelung cat. We have owned and renovated a home in the past and rented single family homes and apartment/condos, and take very good care of the properties we inhabit. We're open to anything clean and well maintained on the peninsula between San Jose up to Burlingame, that's >1000 sq ft and doesn't mind people who occasionally make music, ideally with a garage for our bikes and woodworking / electronic hobbies and extra camping/gear for <$6000/month. <$5000 would be amazing. The zillow scene is terrifying right now with insane competition for anything nice and affordable that is also pet friendly. Have been on the Stanford GME waiting lists since January, but also we'd prefer to not be required to move out after 2 years if we really like the place. Not throwing a pity party but we are starting to lose our marbles after a crazy amount of driving around everywhere to find a roof over our heads. We currently live in El Cerrito / East Bay and can come any time to tour/ meet, and can rent starting anytime from now through this summer, preferably by August before the start of the next school year for our son. Thanks for your consideration! Good luck to everyone in finding their perfect housing match!

Hi, I am a male undergraduate student coming to Stanford as a visiting student for the Summer Session from June 19 to August 15. I will be staying with my mother because I recently underwent surgery and need to follow a special diet, so having access to a kitchen is essential. Ideally, I am looking for a place close to campus or at least near a bus stop or Stanford shuttle route. My budget is around $1,000–$1,800 per month, though it is somewhat flexible. I will spend most of my time attending lectures, so my mother will be using the space more often. She is very clean, quiet, a great cook, and does not smoke or drink alcohol. Unfortunately, due to my health condition, I am not looking for roommates. Please feel free to reach out if you have a room available or any other suggestions. I am open to messages or calls. Have a great summer!
